Forgiveness Didn’t Change Him… It Changed Me

Hi Reader,

Let me ask you something…

Have you ever noticed how the stories we tell ourselves quietly shape how we show up in the world?

For years, I carried a story.

A story of pain… of disconnection… of things that were never resolved.

And without realizing it, that story was influencing my confidence, my voice, and even the level of success I allowed myself to step into.

Because what we don’t release… we rehearse.

And what we rehearse… becomes who we are.

It wasn’t until I consciously chose to interrupt that pattern; to reframe the meaning I had attached to my past that everything began to shift.

Last May, I wrote my dad a letter whom I hadn't seen in 27 years.

Not to change him.
Not to rewrite the past.
But to change the meaning I was giving it.

And in doing that, it changed me.

Forgiveness didn’t just help me gain confidence…

It gave me something far greater:

Freedom.

Freedom from the emotional weight.
Freedom from the story that was keeping me small.
Freedom to fully step into who I was created to be.

Because here’s the truth;

When my dad died, no one knew for 9 whole months!

(Let that sink in for a moment)

He had spent his life pushing people away… holding onto anger… until one day, there was no one left.

And that realization did something to me.

It made me ask:

What am I holding onto that could cost me connection, peace, self-confidence, and purpose?

That question changed everything.

It’s what inspired my upcoming TEDx talk this July in Los Angeles, CA:

“How One Letter Healed 27 Years of Trauma.”

Because forgiveness isn’t about them.

It’s about you.

It’s about releasing the emotional charge, reframing the past, and choosing a new internal narrative; one that aligns with who you are becoming, not who you’ve been.

So I’ll leave you with this…

What story are you still rehearsing and who are you not forgiving?

And what would happen if you chose to rewrite it?

More to come as I prepare for this talk.

But maybe today… this is your invitation.

To let go.
To reframe.
To be free.

PS. If this message resonates and you’re looking for a speaker who can move your audience, I’d love to bring this transformative message to your stage. 🙏

With Gratitude,

Hi Reader, I remember the day I walked away from everything. The company car.The laptop. The cell phone. The health insurance and salary. Gone. 🤯 I didn’t have a backup plan.I didn’t have a clear roadmap.I just had this deep, undeniable feeling… There had to be more. What surprised me the most wasn’t the uncertainty. It was the lack of support. On my last day, my boss told me: “You’ll never make the kind of money on your own.” And for a while… he was right. My first year in business was hard. I...

Hi Reader, After the last email I sent, I expected some to unsubscribe. Instead, something incredible happened. I had the highest reply rate ever. Many of you wrote back sharing pieces of your own story. Others sent encouragement and support. A few even asked how they could help and generously made introductions. That meant more to me than you probably realize. Thank you. 🙏 Your responses confirmed something I’ve been sensing deeply: people are searching right now... for truth, for purpose,...

Hi Reader, For years, many of you have followed me because of brand strategy, confidence, speaking, business growth, and personal development. Those topics matter deeply to me. But lately something deeper has been weighing heavily on my heart. I can’t just help people build their businesses. I feel called to also speak about something far more important: our souls. Because success, influence, money, recognition; none of it compares to what is eternal. And right now, the world feels heavy....
