Hi Reader,

I remember the day I walked away from everything.

The company car.
The laptop.
The cell phone.
The health insurance and salary.

Gone. 🤯

I didn’t have a backup plan.
I didn’t have a clear roadmap.
I just had this deep, undeniable feeling…

There had to be more.

What surprised me the most wasn’t the uncertainty.

It was the lack of support.

On my last day, my boss told me:

“You’ll never make the kind of money on your own.”

And for a while… he was right.

My first year in business was hard.

I had to learn everything.
Even though I came from a corporate background in marketing and sales…
this was different.

I wasn’t confident.
I didn’t know what I was doing.

For the first year and a half, I was borrowing my mom’s car.

And if I’m being honest…
there were moments I felt like a failure.

But something in me wouldn’t let me quit.

Not logic.
Not proof.
Not validation.

A calling.

I didn’t know step one.

But I took one anyway.

I said yes to speaking on a stage,
even though it was my biggest fear.

And something shifted.

That one moment…
led me to start writing my first book.

That book (still just a Word document on my desktop)
led to me being interviewed on Fox News in New York.

Shortly after that…
I landed my first TEDx talk.

I couldn’t believe it. Just months before, no one knew who I was.

I hadn’t even posted a video of myself online prior to this and I barely had a following on social media.

I am the youngest of five kids…
from a small town in Maryland that no one has heard of…
raised in a poor family without resources, but with a dream in my heart.

And here’s what I know now:

When you feel called…
it means the path already exists.

You just can’t see it yet.

Because the path doesn’t appear all at once.

It appears step by step, after you move.

So let me ask you…

What is that thing you feel pulled toward right now?

The book?
The podcast?
The business?
The stage?
